About The Role:

Paytient is seeking a Senior Manager, Growth Marketing focused on creating content and delivering results across the brand’s owned media channels, including Web, Newsletter, Email Marketing, Social Media and SEO.

This person must be skilled in breaking through the noise by creating content that is culturally relevant, positively provocative, and worthy of following. We are looking for someone with a nuanced understanding of the employee benefits space and a passion to change the way Americans pay for care.

In this role, you will create and distribute content to engage target personas, including benefits brokers, benefit managers, HR leaders, and other industry stakeholders around our mission to help more Americans access and afford care. We’re creating a new category of employee benefit, so you’ll not only educate the market on our solution to drive MQLs—you’ll also help raise the profile of the entire category, leading an important thought leadership conversation in the healthcare industry.

We’re looking for someone who can engage with complex ideas, monitor the media for relevant ideas and ensure flawless, on-brand execution across all of our Owned Media channels. This person must have an appetite to test new tactics by applying best practices cross channels to establish benchmark and forecast results.

This role sits in the Growth Marketing team, and this person must combine their content creation skills with a highly analytical mindset that is competent in reporting and optimizing on full-funnel metrics. This person must want to win big, and be comfortable failing fast and pivoting faster.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Report to the VP, Growth Marketing and develop the content strategy for Paytient’s owned media channels, including Web, Newsletter, Email Marketing, Social Media and SEO.
  • Be a full-funnel marketer who is competent in leveraging content and owned media channels to drive brand awareness, product preference, and leads amongst target audiences. 
  • Produce and distribute content in a variety of formats such as articles, social media posts, video, webinars, lead magnets, and whitepapers.
  • Develop performance benchmarks for MQLs by channel and tactic to ensure we’re hitting our goals and landing our message.
  • Input performance delivery into the Growth Marketing reporting dashboard on a weekly basis, and include relevant insights that will inform the optimizations for the following week. 
  • Collaborate with team members in Paid Media and Sales Marketing to share learnings, and increase the effectiveness of all channels within Growth Marketing.
  • Drive positive brand conversations through responsible, timely, and respectful community management.
  • Proactively monitor brand topics/news stories in the employee benefits space, including monitoring for regulatory changes, and provide suggestions for timely content and conversations.
  • Partner closely with our PR firm, contributing to announcements and ghostwriting articles for our subject matter experts for third party publications. 
  • Develop and implement an SEO strategy that brings organic traffic to paytient.com.

What You’ll Bring: 

  • 10 years of experience in content strategy, copywriting or managing social channels in a fast-paced startup or agency environment.
  • Experience in managing a team, but comfortable working as an IC as you assess the demands of the channels and the additional heads required to support you in your remit.
  • Past experience writing for B2B and B2C audiences in healthcare or employee benefits.
  • Ability to assume a brand voice and create content based on a strategy
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage project stakeholders and manage timelines
  • Excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and an ability to relate results to our business objectives.
  • Inviting of constructive feedback to iterate and improve constantly.
  • A strong point of view informed by experience and data, and backbone to support making business cases.
  • Knowledge of best practices for digital marketing through social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Experience in copywriting, UX, ad copy, or email marketing experience a plus
  • An eye for layout and an understanding of how design influences readability and engagement. Experience in design platforms like Adobe Suite, Canva, or Figma, a plus.
  • Experience utilizing Hubspot or another CMS platform for email marketing, landing pages, and social media post scheduling.
  • Experience managing or ability to learn how to lead multi-media content creation and distribution e.g. podcast, video series.
  • Passion for disrupting healthcare and helping people access quality care.
