About the role:
PBS Facility Services is seeking a detail-oriented andorganized Billing Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Billing Specialist,you will play a crucial role in accurately and efficiently managing the billingprocess. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely and accurateinvoicing, monitor outstanding accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, andprovide exceptional customer service to our customers. What you will do:
•Prepare and process accurate and timely invoicesfor labor services rendered across multiple entities, ensuring adherence tocompany policies and customer requirements.
•Verify billing data and reconcile anydiscrepancies or missing information.
•Generate, dispatch and print work order checksfor 1099 staff.
•Provide exceptional customer service andresolving billing-related queries promptly.
•Reconcile customer accounts.
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing recordsand documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and customerinformation.
•Prepare regular reports on billing activitiesfor management review.
•Assist with other administrative tasks andspecial projects as assigned.
What it takes to be successful:
• Required : Minimum 1-2 years of Quickbooksbilling experience
• Required : Intermediate to advanced MSExcel user
• Required : Data management using big data,large spreadsheets
•Preferred: Experience importing and exportingspreadsheets to and from ERP
•Preferred: Zoho Finance or similar
•Degree in accounting or related field ispreferred.
•Proven work experience in a similar role,preferably a related industry.
•Strong understanding of billing principles,invoicing processes, and financial concepts.
•Excellent numerical accuracy and attention todetail.
•Strong organizational and time managementskills, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meetdeadlines.
•Exceptional interpersonal and communicationskills, both verbal and written.
•Ability to work independently andcollaboratively within a team.
•Customer-focused mindset and the ability toprovide outstanding service to customers.
