We are seeking applicants for Helpers for off shifts in our Hexacomb division in Arlington, TX. Responsibilities:Must be committed to working safely, following the company rules and helping identify opportunities for a safer workplace for everyone.The work for this position includes feeding material into machines, stacking finished product, glue/assembly of paper products, banding pallets, and shrink-wrapping for shipment.Must be able to work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity and decreasing downtime and waste. Disruptive behavior is not tolerated.Assume active role in overall plant and facilities-related work. Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor.Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.Other duties as assigned.May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.Basic Qualifications:High School Graduate or GED.Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.Able to pass pre-employment background and drug test.Must be able to stand, stoop, and bend.Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is preferred.Machine operator experience a plus.Forklift experience a plus.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.Excellent communication skills.Thrive in a cross-functional team environment.Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.Have knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Access.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.PCA provides a competitive comprehensive benefits package. Pay and Benefits: Pay range $19.45 with a differential for 2nd $0.25 for 3rd $0.35Excellent benefits package (health, dental, vision)Company-paid life insurance401k plan with company matchRetirement savings plan1.5 pay over 8 hours, over 40 hours, and on weekends1.5 pay on holidays, plus additional overtime over 8 hours on holidays PCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories
