As a Product Sales Specialist with The Modal Shop, you will work with our Non-Destructive Testing Product Group Team and be responsible for providing general sales support to our customers and internal teams, generating quotes, assist with parts testing and factory acceptance testing, provide technical support and occasionally travel to customer facilities for product demonstrations and calibration services.
Additional Duties:
  • Provide sales support by generating and sending quotations to customers, following up on quotations, documenting customer interactions, sends product documentation to customers and escalate technical responses as needed.
  • Contributes to marketing activities including content creation, planning for seminars and trade shows, collecting and following up on leads.
  • Provides post-sale support by executing contract review and responding to customer requests for order status updates and coordination of logistics with customers and internal fulfillment department.
  • Recommends changes in products, services and standard operating procedures by evaluating results and competition, resolves customer concerns and develops solutions, and gathers marketplace information on pricing, products, etc.
  • Assist with testing customer parts and completing factory acceptance testing on systems.
  • Travel to customer facilities for product demonstrations and calibration services.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience in a sales environment.
  • Travel Requirement: 10% travel as needed for product demonstrations and calibration services
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Sound and Vibration industry knowledge is a plus.
