Job Summary
Account Coordinators perform many diverse responsibilities which ultimately help us succeed in providing extraordinary customer service to our customers. The Account Coordinator's responsibilities can be summarized in four main categories: Customer Service and Issue Resolution, Document Management, Quoting and Spread sheeting, and Management of Value-Added Services. The Account Coordinator may also be asked to perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Essential duties and responsibilities of Account Coordinator:
- Collect information from individual clients and send quotes quickly and efficiently.
- Document individual leads and follow up as needed.
- Organize, document, research and resolve client requests and client claims issues in a timely manner.
- Complete day to day operational tasks accurately and within the required time. Is resourceful and creative when handling unique or complex issues. Analyze issues to determine root cause and involves addition team members when necessary.
- Acts as a liaison between client and carriers to resolve issues. Understands when an issue requires a sense of urgency or the need to escalate.
- Prepare documents such as weekly meeting agendas, proposals, Employee Benefit Packets, Welcome Packets, Prospect Packets and other communication and correspondence.
- Maintain client files, consultant checklists, and update Master Client Spreadsheet.
- Prepares spreadsheets by collecting, reviewing, and summarizing carrier quotes for new groups and renewal plan options.
- Additional Responsibilities as assigned
- High School graduate or equivalent; some college preferred
- Licensed Accident & Health, Life Producer in the State of Utah (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs emphasizing excellence
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, prospecting, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Salary range of $20/hr-$25/hr
