Our goal today is the same as it was in 1968 – to provide clear and concise explanations of insurance policies and concepts which allows our clients to understand them and make the best decision for themselves.Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for selling insurance policies, writing insurance proposals, and using sales techniques to gain and maintain new business clients.Identify and solicit sales prospects from various sources provided by agency, by cold calls and phone contactsNegotiate with insurance companies on behalf of clients to obtain coverage for specific risks or claims.Review insurance contracts to ensure that coverage meets legal requirements and terms.Develop information and recommendations for prospective accounts, present proposals and adhere to agency policies and procedures for writing a new accountMaintain a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with customers, as well as agency staff, to minimize potential for error and omission claims.Accurately process insurance requests for financial institutions in a timely mannerEffictively manage existing customers. Qualifications: 5 years of Insurance Sales experienceStrong sales aptitudeWillingness to make prospecting calls and network to develop new businessExceptional customer service skillsDisciplined, well organized, and self-motivated personStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong organization and follow up skillsWillingness and ability to travel independently to client and prospect meetings on a regular basisActive Insurance License.Compensation:$45,000 - $80,000 Schedule:Full-TimeMonday-Friday Benefits: MedicalDentalVisionPaid Time Off401KLife
