Job Summary:
The VP of Industry and Product will be responsible for overseeing critical aspects of industry-focused growth across the United States. This role will also focus on the development of new insurance products and organic growth capabilities, with a specific emphasis on expanding the company's presence in captives, managing general agencies (MGA's), and entering new carrier markets. Additionally, the VP of Industry Practice and Product will be responsible for building and maintaining a network of industry verticals with specialized services, fostering collaboration, REVENUE targets and driving process improvements within those verticals.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop deep industry knowledge in verticals such as transportation, aviation, equine, oil & gas, construction, agriculture, and healthcare to provide specialized services.
• Mentor and train Producers and other team members from a sales perspective; including creating and executing specialized sales trainings.
• Continually utilize network and professional connections to recruit additional Producers and sales associates.
• Coordinate with on-site, regional and corporate leadership to understand sales and specialization objectives.
• Drive direct client growth by analyzing and understanding market and industry trends and implementing strategies to capture new revenue.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of progressive, successful production experience and support; majority must be within a brokerage.
• Deep expertise, market relationships and strong visibility in the insurance marketplace.
• Proven progressive track record in driving new business results.
• A consultative, positive, and resourceful approach to dealing with prospects, clients and associates.
• Highly developed organization and time management skills.
• Strong listening, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Public speaking and presentation experience.
• Strong degree of self-motivation with a demonstrated ability to lead/motivate others.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• P&C licenses required.
