We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Healthcare Program Manager to oversee and coordinate healthcare programs within the correctional facilities across the state of Illinois. As a road warrior, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the implementation, administration, and evaluation of healthcare services within the correctional settings, ensuring compliance with state regulations and healthcare standards.
Responsibilities:Program Implementation and Oversight:
- Develop, implement, and oversee healthcare programs tailored to the unique needs of correctional facilities.
- Ensure that healthcare services align with state regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute strategic plans for healthcare programs in correctional facilities.
- Identify opportunities for program improvement and growth.
- Serve as a road warrior, traveling to up to 30 different correctional facilities within the state of Illinois.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess the quality of healthcare services, provide support, and address any issues.
- Manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring efficient and effective program delivery.
- Provide guidance, support, and supervision to staff members.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Implement quality assurance measures to monitor and improve the delivery of healthcare services.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration with correctional facility staff, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between the healthcare team and correctional facility management.
- Collect, analyze, and report data on healthcare program performance.
- Use data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
- Proven experience in program management within the healthcare industry, preferably in correctional settings.

- Ability to travel extensively to correctional facilities within the state of Illinois.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
