The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) is an independent nonprofit organization authorized by Congress in 2010. Its mission is to fund research that will provide patients, their caregivers and clinicians with the evidence-based information needed to make better-informed healthcare decisions. Position Summary

The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) is offering a Summer Internship to a qualified candidate who will support the DIGITAL team. This paid internship is a part time, temporary employment opportunity averaging 20 to 30 hours per week for an undergraduate or postgraduate student. PCORI does not provide housing for out-of-town residents. All applicants must be eligible to work in the US and located in the US. Pay Range and Employment Status:

Interns shall be classified as temporary employees who are hired as interim replacements, to temporarily supplement the workforce, or to assist in the completion of a specific project and who are temporarily scheduled to work for a limited duration. Employment beyond any initially stated period does not in any way imply a change in employment status. Temporary workers are not eligible for PCORI benefits.

Current master's level and above students will be paid $20.00 per hour. Bachelor's level students will be paid: $17.50 per hour.

The Digital department is seeking an intern who will have the opportunity to:

* Participate in a User Experience discipline to assist with the pre-implementation/discovery preparation for bringing a Customer Relationship Management tool into PCORI's technology stack.

* Gain exposure to drafting user journeys, creating visual mockups for CRM, providing recommendations based on completed journeys and mockups, and producing interactive wireframes. These wireframes will guide improvements aligned with stakeholder needs and organizational goals.

* Build skills in Utilizing wireframe and visual interaction design tooling in the context of real world business process - Learn about business stakeholder management - Experience the challenges of understanding user needs outside of the business - Contribute significantly to an organization's digital maturity journey The project aims to enhance the stakeholder experience at PCORI.

The Digital team is seeking an intern that will meet the following requirements:

• Experience with UI mockup tooling (such as Figma, Miro, etc.) and the process of user journey mapping.
• Previous experience creating interactive wireframes and visual representations of user journeys.

Ideal candidates will be pursuing their undergraduate or postgraduate education with a strong interest in Design, Visual/Interaction Design, Computer Science
