Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will assist in various construction projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Duties:
- Help work forming and placing concrete
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment
- Support skilled tradespeople as needed
- Deliver, load and unload materials from trucks
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Provide your own hand tools; of sufficient quality and in the condition needed to complete all assigned tasks
- Must be able to lift up to 25-75 pounds
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience in construction or a related field is preferred
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks
- Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
*You must have a clean driving record*
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Certification in construction safety protocols
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as: forklift, scissor-life, boom lift, bobcat
- Basic understanding of construction blueprints
