Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist - Software Development
Job Type: Full time (10 month contract to start, potential for extension)
Location: Denver, CO 80202 Hybrid
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: 65,000-85,000 salary/DOE 10% retention bonus upon completion of contract

**MUST HAVE: Code Stack experience

**Preferred experience: working with Canadian employees and Paylocity

Position Summary:
You will be tasked with helping the organization build a world class workforce so that we can exceed the needs of our customers and meet our corporate goals. You will accomplish this by proactively and strategically sourcing and screening applicants, scheduling internal interviews, extending and negotiating offers, conducting references and background checks, and preparing onboarding plans for a variety of technical and non-technical positions throughout the organization. You will also ensure a positive and effective candidate experience for all applicants.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct strategic and successful full-life cycle recruitment assignments for exempt and non-exempt personnel in North America (Canada & the US).
• Support the Director, Human Resources and Hiring Managers in overseeing external recruiting agencies and the coordination of temporary employees.
• Collaborate with Hiring Managers to identify staffing needs, job specifications, duties and responsibilities, competencies, qualifications, skills, and salary budgets.
• Develop and maintain all job descriptions and job postings and review and respond to all applicants in a timely manner.
• Review and coordinate candidate applications, conducts phone interviews/ screenings as needed, refer candidates to Hiring Managers, schedule and coordinate interviews with Hiring Managers and teams, and gather interview feedback.
• Provide guidance, coaching training, and reference information/materials to Hiring Managers in preparation for applicant interviews – ensuring best practices and compliance.
• Coordinate with the Director, Human Resources and Hiring Managers to draft and gain approvals on offers, extend offers, and assist with any negotiations needed.
• Conduct background screenings with third party vendors.
• Coordinate with internal resources (IT, Finance, Administration, etc.) to ensure we are prepared for all new hires i.e. IT equipment and accounts are ready, internal systems are set up, workspace is prepared, etc.
• Liaise with Payroll & HR Specialist to ensure new hire paperwork is collected and distributed as needed to ensure timely new hire set up and payroll.
• Work actively with department managers & external agencies to assist team with election/onsite support resource requirement.
• Direct external recruiters and outside employment agencies to attract and hire candidates.
• Research, identify and recommend best practices for full cycle recruitment function, including alternative staffing strategies.
• Coordinate internal promotions, transfers, salary adjustments as needed.
• Performs other related human resources duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or similar (work experience also acceptable)
• 4 years recruitment experience required, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Proven ability to source and hire technical (software & hardware development) talent.
• Experience utilizing recruiting tools and online platforms to attracting passive and active candidates is required.
• Superior communications, both written and verbal and excellent organizational skills are required.
• Ability to build strong relationships quickly – both internally & externally – is required.
• Proven success meeting tight deadlines while managing high volume and complex recruitment.
• Dedication to excellence, customer experience, candidate experience and high integrity.
• Able to work well both independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
