Peachtree Catering and Events is Hiring an Event Cook Near Radnor, PA

Position Summary:

Peachtree Catering and Events, is a catering and event production firm in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Event Cook must work with efficiency, professionalism, awareness & initiative. In this role, they will execute serving a menu of foods from various cuisines, use seasonal and local ingredients, and become part of a lively family-oriented operation. Peachtree caters to an expansive clientele at four exclusive venues as well as off-premise catering events. This position will be for someone interested in broadening their event service skills and learning closely from a privately owned catering operation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
  • Executes day-of tasks which can include chopping, mixing, searing, frying and other techniques
  • Prepares food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards as defined by the Lead Event Chef
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area
  • Maintains overall cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
  • Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies
  • Maintain kitchen and workplace cleanliness through all properties and offsite kitchens
  • Positive attitude

Qualifications

Experience: 1-3 years in management at catering company or restaurant

  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Able to work effectively under time constraints
  • Able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Able to maintain a clean and organized work area
