Responsibilities:

• Lead catering staff during events, serving as the primary client and vendor contact.
• Communicate effectively via email and scheduling apps for shift management and information exchange.
• Create Staff Assignments List and Steps of Service based on pre-event details.
• Ensure polished business attire and prompt arrival for events.
• Coordinate vendor arrivals and event timeline with DJs/MCs.
• Oversee staff activities, maintain timeline, and communicate with all stakeholders during events.
• Manage linen, equipment, liquor inventory, and event breakdown/cleanup.
• Complete event recaps post-event.

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fine dining knowledge and hospitality expertise.
• Problem-solving ability and reliable transportation.
• RAMP certification, wine expertise, bartending training preferred.
• Open availability on weekends.
• 2 years FOH experience in banquets/events.
• Strong leadership, time management, and attention to detail skills.
• Candidates should be comfortable leading 10-20 FOH staff through all aspects of special events, including, but not limited to: room/tent set up, truck loading/unloading, beverage management, rental inventory, buffet/plated dinner service, timeline coordination, vendor communication and venue clean-up.
