Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Biller to join our team. The Medical Biller will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing medical claims and invoices. The ideal candidate will have experience with IntakeQ, medical receptionist duties, and strong administrative skills. Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and experience working in a mental health office or medical setting is preferred. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:
- Process medical claims and invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
- Review and correct any billing errors or discrepancies
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any billing issues or denials
- Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing inquiries or disputes
- Stay up-to-date with changes in billing regulations and coding requirements
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role preferred
- Proficiency with IntakeQ and/or Office Ally software is highly desired
- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding systems (e.g., CPT, ICD-10)
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and record keeping
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing claims
- Knowledge of insurance billing processes and reimbursement guidelines
- Ability to effectively communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients
