Peachtree Press is a fast-paced company focused on designing and manufacturing trend-right products for large retailers, catalogs & tradeshows. Product lines are found in major retailers across the following industries: journals, stationery, arts & crafts, office, party and back to school.

Job Description

Our creative team is growing and we are looking for experienced designers with product development experience in stationery, party, arts & crafts, and office to design for existing and new product lines. This individual contributes graphic, illustration, typography and layout design across the above categories. This individual should have a strong knowledge of current trends accompanied by the ability to create & design new innovative products. Must be a highly motivated and well-organized team partner. This individual will work directly with the Director of Design. Competitive salaries are based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

· Full Time-Hybrid Office/WFH in Flower Mound, Texas

· Strong skills in developing icons, graphics, prints & pattern repeats

· Excellent typography skills

· Must be able to design strong cohesive collections

· Ability to interpret and follow customer product development briefs to develop products and designs for presentations

· Create production ready files with all measurements, pantones, specifications and treatments

· Excellent attention to detail and have the ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality

· Understand market trends in the stationery, arts & crafts, party, gifts, and home decorating industries

· Highly efficient in time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet aggressive timelines as needed

· Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and in written form

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree preferred. A BFA or MFA is highly preferred.

· Minimum 2-5 years of product design and/or illustration experience. Designing for large retailers or companies selling products to large retailers is a huge plus.

· Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign

· Design experience in developing icons, graphics, and pattern prints

· Must have a thorough working knowledge of basic Microsoft Office Programs.

· Ability to maintain the privacy of company and clients confidential information

· Design experience in the arts and crafts or stationery

· Any experience in photography or web design is viewed as a plus, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $49,000.00 per year
