Job DescriptionPeak Security is looking for 16-20 seasonal security guards that will deliver stellar customer service while demonstrating high moral standing to our client located in Salt Lake City. Applicants must be open, engaging, and friendly as they will be working closely with people of various ages and backgrounds. This seasonal position is part-time, pays $20.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience, and will run from August to November 2024 with the potential to extend or be offered permanent employment. As this position is only one day a week, all applicants must be available for all assigned shifts for the duration of this seasonal employment. Consistent attendance is required.

What You'll Do:

What You'll Do:
- Assume overall responsibility for the safety and security of designated areas
- Report observations of suspicious behavior and identify safety or security risks
- Alert appropriate personnel about issues regarding loss prevention, client concerns, or customer needs
- Provide professional & friendly customer service to all levels of client
- Interact with community members of diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and ages
- Provide customer service to all customers, vendors, and members of the public
- Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials to accessing the property
- Patrol designated areas in accordance with outlined security procedures
- Attend required meetings that may occur outside your regular work schedule
- Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents
- Complete incident and daily activity reports
- Wear Peak issued security uniform
- At least 18 years old
- Citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
- Clean background and ability to pass a pre-hire drug screen
- Utah Private Security License preferred or willingness to obtain
- Must have a cell phone to communicate with our dispatch team (your safety is just as important!)
- Able to comfortably alternate between standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs for the duration of the shift
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
- Consistent and punctual attendance
- Required to work weekends and holidays according to assigned schedule
