Description
Lone Tree Modern Dental and Orthodontics is growing our team and seeks to add an experienced Dental Patient Coordinator to our team. We are lead by two fantastic General Dentists, an Office Manager, and Regional Manager. Our office is passionate about providing the highest level of care to our patients and we seek a polished and friendly Dental Patient Coordinator to work in our office Full-Time, Monday-Friday.
As a Dental Patient Coordinator, your role is crucial to our office achieveing our goal of being the best dental office in the Lone Tree area. The ideal Dental Patient Coordinator will have one or more years experience working in a dental front office setting, and be comfortable answering phones, scheduling patients for treatment, checking patients in/out, verifiying insurancee, collecting co-pays and discussing financing options with patients for treatment. We run on a cloud based practice management system, and enjoy building relationships with our patients and our fellow team members.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients into the office upon arrival, gathering necessary information such as patient demographics, insurance information, and updated health history
  • Deliver a distinctive patient experience with every patient both in person and over the phone
  • Answer calls and schedule new and existing patients for dental treatment
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming patient waiting area
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and an understanding of the breakdown of benefits
  • Review treatment plans and financials with patients
  • Assisted with meeting office financial goals by ensuring hygiene and dentist schedules were packed and scheduled appropriately.
  • Collect patient payments and post them to their patient ledger
  • Update necessary documents into Denticon
  • Make outbound calls to confirm upcoming appointments
  • Additional duties as needed, such as assisting with laundry, taking out the trash, refilling supplies in restrooms, and any other necessary tasks in our office

Requirements
  • Two or more years of experience in a dental front office setting is required
  • Dental Insurance knowledge is a must
  • Ability and willingness to work at two sister locations in the Denver area
  • Ability to work independently
  • Customer service oriented
  • Team player
  • Knowledge of Denticon is preferred but not required
