Description
Are you an experienced and detail oriented EDDA-Dental assistant looking for a part-time job that offers flexible hours, competitive pay, and growth opportunities? We are adding a part-time EDDA-DA to our practice due to growth, and looking for an EDDA who has one or more years experience, is EDDA certified and has the ability to work part-time.
Hours for this role are flexible working Thurday, Friday's weekly and one Saturday per month.

• Thursday 1-6
• Friday 8-5
• 1x Sat/month 8-1

Responsibilities as an EDDA-Dental Assistan t

• Welcome patients with a warm smile
• Experienced with 4 handed dentistry
• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Capturing diagnostic radiographs
• Proficiency with temporary crowns, rubber dams, impressions, dentures
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Keep operatories clean and well-stocked
• Schedule follow-up and/or additional appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with treatment planning

Requirements

• Good computer skills
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
• w years experience - we are willing to train more advanced skills
• CPR certified
• Experience with Removables is preferred but is not required
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred but is not required
