Role OverviewAs a litigation paralegal at our business law firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys during the litigation process, focusing on financial services litigation. Your responsibilities will include conducting pre-claim investigations, drafting legal documents, maintaining case files, and ensuring the seamless organization of case materials.
ResponsibilitiesHandling federal and state court procedures, including e-filing.
Performing administrative tasks such as calendaring, managing court and discovery deadlines.
Drafting various court documents and assisting with document production.
Conducting legal research and preparing trial materials.
QualificationsBachelor's degree with ABA paralegal certification or Associate/Bachelor's degree in Paralegal studies preferred.
Florida Registered Paralegal certification preferred.
At least 7 years of litigation paralegal experience.
Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
Excellent knowledge of legal principles and litigation processes.
Outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Superior interpersonal skills and a commitment to quality customer service.
Willingness to travel locally and nationally as required.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
A readiness to work overtime as needed to meet case demands.
