Peak Partners has a client who is a growing commercial sign fabrication company in Baltimore County who is looking to hire a Production Associate who can be the company’s primary fabrication specialist. While experience is preferred, they will train the right candidate, who possesses the attitude and determination to work in a team environment and who will focus on the needs of the customer.

Preferred skills & experience:

• Design experience.
• Technical knowledge of computers and willing to learn to be proficient in various software programs.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Team Player who likes to create.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Uses various production tools and software to include a printer, laminator, and plotter.
• Weeds, trims, tapes, and lays vinyl; loads and cuts vinyl on a plotter.
• Masks, weeds, and applies vinyl to substrates.
• Prepares substrates, to include cutting, drilling, rounding corners, painting, etc.
• Maintains machinery in good working order.
• Makes boxes and packages products for shipping.
• Ensures quality control/proof reading/correcting artwork before production.
• Works with Sales and Project managers on jobs to ensure efficiency, schedules production due dates, and ensures use of correct methods and materials.
• Collaborates with other team members on client consultations.
• Safely operates company equipment.
• Maintains machinery in good working order.
• Keeps a running inventory of all stock and supplies.
• Maintains an organized, clean, and professional work area and personal appearance always.
• Maintains a safe work area, in accordance with OSHA standards and requirements.
