Peak Performers is Hiring a Quality Improvement Specialist (non-clinical) Near Sunrise, FL

Peak Performers has partnered with a Managed Care Organization to assist in their search for a Quality Improvement Specialist. In this contract position, you will support the development and maintenance of quality improvement related projects and reporting. Respond to quality improvement inquiries.
Major duties
  • Analyze data related to CAHPS and Mock CAHPS survey results and develop presentations for multiple Quality Improvement Meetings by product.
  • Develop, run, and manage CAHPS workgroups and assist in identifying and implementing initiatives to improve the member experience.
  • Assist in creating materials related to the member experience both for members and providers.
  • Ability to submit materials and follow the approval process.
  • Provide support to the CAHPS QI team.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including meeting minutes, action items, issues list and follow up with appropriate departments/process.
  • Strong MS PowerPoint and Excel Skills (pivot tables exp is preferred)
  • Formulate and prepare ad-hoc and additional reporting requirements
  • Recommend, develop, and implement quality improvement plans with management
  • Prepare for and participate in meetings with State agencies, providers, and stakeholders
  • Perform audits on to meet state and internal requirements
  • Assist with CAHPS initiatives
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations
  • Heavy chart monitoring and auditing of medical records
What are we looking for?
  • High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • 2 years of related experience
  • CAHPS Member Experience required
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including Excel and PowerPoint preferred
About This Position
  • Rate: $21.83/hour
  • Days / Hours: Monday-Friday
  • Contract length: ~3 months
  • Remote within the State of Florida
