Assemblers - 2nd shiftShfit Hours: M - F: 2:00pm to 10:30pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints (technical drawings) and written work instructions.
- Perform complex parts assembly operations using various tooling, fixtures and hand tools.
- Must have experience in mechanical assembly.
- Ensuring parts conform to Drawing Specifications.
- Participate 5s, LEAN Kaizen and problem-solving team activities.
- Must adhere to all the company's safety requirements.
- Able to work overtime as needed including weekends.
- Minimum 2 years Assembly experience in an Aerospace or Equivalent Manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
- Must be able to meet documented workmanship standards and pass company sponsored training and certification programs
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- High School or GED/Equivalent
- Years of experience: 2-year minimum
- Six Sigma, 5S and Lean experience a plus
