Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of proven experience in designing heavy mechanical equipment, such as large conveyance systems, automotive, or large robotic systems.
- Demonstrated strong relationship skills working with technical groups and multidiscipline teams.
- Proven ability to effectively partner with stakeholders and customers.
- Record of strong leadership skills with effective coaching abilities.
- Proficiency in utilizing Engineering and Design software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Proficiency in performing classical and/or computer-based engineering analysis using hand calculations, FEA software, or MathCAD.
- Experience with design standards including AWS, DIN, ASTM, SAE, and ASME.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Sciences, or Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience with Disney design standards or equivalent, and ASTM F24.
- Five (5) years of demonstrated amusement industry mechanical engineering design experience, including gravity coasters, round rides, dark rides, and omni movers.
Required Education:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Sciences, or Engineering Technology.
Preferred Education:
- Master's degree in Engineering or MBA.
