Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct Receiving Inspection, First Article Inspection, In-Process Inspection & Final Inspection using minimal amount of supervision.
- Must have good working knowledge of all inspection hand tools including micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, and other inspection tools
- Must have basic computer skills, including the use of ERP systems, Microsoft Office applications, and other common software.
- Inspect Raw Material through Finished Assemblies
- Read and understand prints and tolerancing
- Must be willing to work alternate shifts as required by work center load or customer needs (shifts: day, swing, graveyard, and weekend).
Qualifications:
- Must have good working knowledge of ASME Y14.5M Dimensioning & Tolerancing, Mil-Specs, and Quality Management System standards such as SAE AS and ISO.
- Ability to utilize Statistical Process Control techniques.
- Ability to utilize CMM with PC DMIS and CAD software for programming CMMs a plus.
Education:
Minimum 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
