Your ImpactPearce is seeking experienced Travel Commercial HVAC Technicians to join our team with a focus on installations and maintenance of commercial HVAC units on Renewable Energy Sites located throughout United States. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Renewable industry. Your ImpactPearce is seeking experienced Travel Commercial HVAC Technicians to join our team with a focus on installations and maintenance of commercial HVAC units on Renewable Energy Sites located throughout United States. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Renewable industry. This position is up to 100% travel but candidates residing in the Springfield, Illinois area are preferred.Core Responsibilities
- Maintaining commercial cooling systems on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) – focusing on installations including pipefitting of entire systems and diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing components.
- Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance.
- Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season equipment.
- Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.
- Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
- Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
- 2 years of experience with HVAC installation and maintenance (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.
- Candidates residing in the Springfield, Illinois area are preferred.
- Travel for work (up to 100%) is required, especially during busy summer months.
- Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.
- Driving to remote work sites as needed.
- Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
- Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
- Compliance with FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA Regulations.
