Your Impact:

Are you a skilled and highly motivated Traveling HVAC Technician who is looking to learn and grow in a fast-paced, rewarding job in the Telecom industry? If so, Pearce has a career for you! Our Traveling HVAC Technicians service and repair commercial HVAC units on cell phone towers. This role is a great match for responsible self-starters who are willing to travel. The schedule for the Traveling HVAC Technician is 20 days working and 10 days off.

Core Responsibilities:

• Maintaining commercial cooling systems on cell tower cooling units – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems
• Performing additional maintenance or upgrades on out-of-season equipment
• Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance
• Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call-outs while on-call
• Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports
• Driving to remote work sites as needed

Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience:

• 3 or more years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred)
• Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Physical/Work Environment:

At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA Standards.

• Compliance with FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA Regulations
• Must have the ability to inspect and/or troubleshoot equipment/alarms effectively, both visually and audibly
• Must have the ability to be on call and travel for work when needed is highly preferred, especially during busy summer months
• May need to pass DOT physical
