Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sort door menus according to time of delivery for breakfast.
• Answer the telephone and record guest information and the food and beverage items ordered.
• Record all deliveries to the rooms of food, flowers and amenities on the pick-up sheet.
• Answer questions about all hotel menus and their hours of operation.
• Total and post all guest charges, including honor bar.
• Order office supplies for the department.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Prepare amenity packages.
• Suggest additional food and beverage items to compliment order.
• Be familiar with hotel services in order to answer questions and provide assistance to guests.
• Report any and all problems to management, to ensure guest satisfaction and the protection of company property.
• Perform side work duties as assigned on daily side work form.
• Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety, health and general policies and procedures.

Absolutely Required Skills:

• Clear and polite manner of communicating.
• Good math and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a varied and flexible shift.
• Food safety certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Desired Skills:

• Food & beverage experience helpful.
