Summary: Manage the Product Engineering Team to execute R&D projects, new product development, product changes, and testing. Improve product design, increase speed to market, and reduce product failure risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate resources and efforts with team members and external consultants.
- Support the development process of new products and product changes.
- Collaborate with various departments to meet project plans.
- Ensure engineering teams focus on current and future projects.
- Determine prototype and development capacities.
- Facilitate design reviews with multidisciplinary teams.
- Oversee product testing and documentation accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years managing engineering team activities.
- Experience with ISO 13485.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to interpret complex documents and present information effectively.
- Comfortable engaging with all levels of management.
- Up to 10% travel may be required.
