Pediatric Specialty Practice is currently seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team. We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about pediatric care and possesses strong clinical skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a pediatric subspecialty clinic and be proficient in EMR systems, particularly eClinicalWorks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient triage and obtain vital signs accurately.
• Assist physicians directly during patient examinations and procedures.
• Collaborate with the front office staff to ensure a steady flow of clinic operations.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Call in prescriptions and return patient calls promptly.
• Obtain prior authorizations for medications and procedures as needed.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate referrals.
• Answer phones and provide assistance to patients and families as needed.
• Conduct parent teaching sessions and communicate with drug representatives.
• Assist with billing and administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant license is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with EMR systems and obtaining vital signs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion and empathy for pediatric patients, especially those with special needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in eClinicalWorks or similar EMR system is preferred.
• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from Marietta, GA.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $39,520.00 per year
