Job DescriptionPosition Title: Line Worker Department: AssemblyReports To: Production Manager Work Days: M-F- O/T as neededSupervises: Shift Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pmBasic Job Function: Saw, fabricate, build, prep ,assemble, test, clean, and wrap all window/doors components to form a complete unit ready to shipPrimary essential duties/responsibilities: Team orientated, must work well with others, good communication, must be able to work fast pace, must be flexible in different operations, excellent attendance, must work safe, and have an excellent knowledge of all quality checks for each operation, work must be done in the facility, must be able to work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed. Must wear all safety personal protective equipments, and follow all safety rules and regulations set by federal, state, local, and company, must know and understand all operations in assembly from material prep to wrappingOther non-essential duties/responsibilities: Supervisory responsibilities: Train all employees to build, alter, repair, assemble all components meeting quality expectations. Ensure all employees are trained to work safe and receive all required safety training set by federal, state, local and companyKnowledge and skills: Must understand the components of the units, how install and the function of each component. Able to read tickets and orders, read a tape measure, basic math, knowledge of the different dies, operate pneumatic tools, hand tools, box knife, sealant guns, and practice all safety rulesPhysical demands: Must be able to work long hours, stand on concrete floors, able to lift 50-70 pounds, stoop, kneel, squat, bend, reach over head, climb, fast pace workWorking conditions/environment: Extreme heat in the summer months, some dirt and metal chips, some chemicals, low lighting, some noise, sharp objects, occasional smoke and fumes
