As the Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accounting records, preparing financial reports, and managing the general ledger.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Investigate and resolve accounting irregularities and discrepancies as needed.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile bank accounts.
- Prepare weekly and quarterly regulatory reports.
- Maintain prepaid accounts, including entering recurring journal entries.
- Manage daily cash position settlements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills.
