The Foundation manages all common areas, including two beach facilities and two private beachfront restaurants, two tennis facilities, two boardwalks, the Fitness Center and Wellness Studio, the Community Center, and approximately 90 acres of land.

About the Position

We are seeking a full-time Restaurant Supervisor to be part of the Food & Beverage department, reporting to the Restaurant Manager. You’ll get the opportunity to foster a culture of creating memorable experiences for members and their guests. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and delivers a high level of member service while maintaining the highest integrity. You will work well under pressure, be a team player, organized, flexible, self-motivated, and reliable.

You’ll have a chance to work with a passionate year-round Food & Beverage team of managers, supervisors, front and back of the house individuals, along with an exceptional group of seasonal people from around the world.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations along with Restaurant Manager, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Greet members and guests to ensure satisfaction with their dining experience. 
  • Address and resolve any member concern promptly and professionally.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate front of the house staff including servers, hosts, and bussers.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure storerooms are clean, organized and stocked.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of six (6) months of Restaurant supervisory experience within hospitality.
  • Must have strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Experience delivering outstanding customer service while collaborating with other team members ensuring member satisfaction.
  • Ability to use POS technology effectively. 
  • Ability to meet physical requirements: standing, walking, and carrying up to 30 pounds.
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.

Education

  • Minimum High school diploma/GED or equivalent 
  • Any combination of education, training, and work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described.
  • ServeSafe food handler certification preferred.
