Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Coordinate efforts of multi discipline engineers, drafting and other project personnel.
- Develop concepts and configurations for multi discipline scope.
- Develop design criteria for overall project.
- Provide technical input to design processes.
- Lead engineer responsible for mechanical discipline specific detailed designs, reports, etc.
- Develop discipline specific design drawing content.
- Prepare discipline specific design specifications and procurement packages for materials and equipment.
- Provide input and support with other discipline design specifications and procurement packages for materials and equipment.
- Prepare detailed work scopes and man-hour estimates as needed.
- Checking of project deliverables vs. design criteria and standards.
- Provide teaching and supervising of others when necessary.
- Perform other technical assignments as directed.
- Interface with client during regular progress update meetings and technical design meetings.
- Provide updates and reporting to project manager.
- Coordinate preparation of multi discipline design packages submittals.
- Competent leading project efforts for site layouts of various types of facilities, development of equipment specifications (fixed and rotating), development of P&ID’s, specifications of piping/valves, and other types of equipment and materials.
- Competent with industry codes and standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers.

Experience : 10 years related experience
