The role of the Card Services Representative is to go above and beyond to meet the team’s and our members’ needs. Our Card Services Representatives provide administrative assistance to the day-to-day activities, procedures, and clerical needs of the Card Service Department. This position will also serve our members by handling debit and credit inquiries over the phone.A Day in the Life of a CARD SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE INCLUDES:Making outbound calls to cardholders regarding research requests and outstanding issues.Processing maintenance requests for debit and credit cards, such as setting up cards, blocking cards, removing blocks, rushing shipment requests, and increasing daily limits.Supporting staff with card questions. Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of credit union history and philosophy, as well as the policies and procedures of the credit union. CARD SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE Skills and qualifications include:High School Diploma or GED.1 year of experience in card operations and/or reviewing members’ financial accounts and/or experience as a teller or call center representative.Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and member service skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. Other things you may want to know about this position:Work ScheduleMonday – Friday8:30 am – 5:30 pmTravelTravel is rarely necessary for this position.
