Sales Support Specialist - Dallas
Position Overview:
The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for leveraging the trade sales consultants’ efforts to build the Pella brand within the trade industry as their premier choice for window and door solutions. Assist Pella sales representative(s) in achieving and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. Continually strive for 100% “Very Satisfied” customers, growth as measured by market share/net sales and profitability.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Completes simple service requests for key customer jobs to enable house closings when regular service may be unavailable
  • Develops strong proficiency with quoting system to review, enter and process orders
  • Provides back up in reviewing orders for the designated sales team
  • Promotes and facilitates continuous improvement activities in the department. Finds root cause of missed sales and help coordinate solutions.
  • Understands and utilizes all necessary software by continually learning through experience and training
  • Thanks clients and encourages a continuing relationship with Pella

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university is preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks in an environment of constant interruptions and be able to prioritize responsibilities. 
Language and Communication Skills
Ability to read and analyze documents related to contracts and work documents. Ability to accurately read, interpret and take-off blueprints. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to verbally present information and respond to questions from customers, managers, and the general public.
Professional Skills
Must present a clean and neat physical appearance and strictly abide by company dress code serving as a role model for other employees, customer and visitors.
Reasoning Abilities
Ability to solve practical and arithmetic problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. 
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch to pick up objects. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move items up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is typical of office environments and moderate to loud on construction job sites.
Travel
Must be available to travel to job sites, occasional training, and company meetings and events. Must be able to drive to job site, office, and event locations.
