Job Summary:

The Membership Support Representative engages with prospective new patients through activities in the community, by referral and within our medical centers. Is motivated and number driven with the ability to build and nurture relationships for the purpose of networking and generating business. The primary responsibility of this position is to generate new patients into our practice by communicating and educating on services and our Managed Care model in order to increase growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Nurtures/builds/cultivates business to client and business-to-business partnerships to gain new patients year round.
• Focuses on Multi-cultural community opportunities in order to educate on all programs offered
• Plans, coordinates and executes local events to promote our services within the community (e.g., information sessions, health fairs, Medical talks, etc.) with focus to help reach our target market (i.e., medically underserved, Medicare-eligible seniors)
• Cultivates strong relationships with insurance agents and case workers to keep Peñate Medical Center as their top provider choice for senior healthcare when referring patients to a primary care physician.
• Partners with community officials, businesses, senior outreach programs in developing initiatives that will appropriately drive new patient growth.
• Effectively communicates the PEÑATE MEDICAL CENTER model, at all community events
• Drives new patient growth by appropriately educating potential patients on our value proposition and healthcare model.
• Develop new distribution channels and arrangements to support new patient growth
• Effectively builds trusting relationships with brokers/insurance agents/case workers/third party vendors associated with seniors.
• Delivers on established commitments and goals.
• This position may require participation and execution of weekend events.
• Develops and executes specific broker and delegated partner strategies and plans
• Creates penetration plans and initiatives in key target markets
• Engages with new patients through and beyond their first appointment for retention.
• This position has a monthly quota to be met individually and as a team.

Education and Experience Requirements:

· Experience in healthcare services such as front desk, event/activity coordination & sales

· Minimum of 3-5 years of related sales and/or customer service experience

· High school Diploma Required

· BA degree preferred but not required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

· Bilingual requirement- CREOLE/ ENGLISH or SPANISH/ENGLISH

· Must be COACHABLE

· Great presentation and communication skills

· Be self-assured, tactful and supportive as this position maintains existing and fosters new relationships within the community

· Existing relationships with major hospitals/systems in the territory preferred

· Ability to learn and apply new information quickly and to interpret insurance needs and offer appropriate solutions to customers

· Ability to easily multi-task in a team-selling environment

· Concise and accurate documentation practices

· Geographically located within or close to assigned territory of North Miami Beach & Miami Gardens

· Ambitious personality, result driven.
