Elegant Designs, a division of Penco Corporation, is seeking a Sales/Design Consultant. Penco Corporation has been a leading wholesale distributor of HVAC and plumbing supplies for over 70 years. Elegant Designs is a full functioning showroom that specializes in luxury kitchen and bath products for any home. The ideal Sales/Design Consultant candidate will possess the following:
Required Skills/Knowledge of:
- Ability to troubleshoot customer problems
- Maintain showroom and all displays
- Handle telephone inquiries and orders
- Resolve customer problems involving merchandise, design questions, product returns, repairs, warranty, etc.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing merchandise using product and design knowledge
- Maintain knowledge of all product offerings available through Elegant Designs
- Use order entry system to accurately enter product information for ordering
- Follow up as required on sales transactions to ensure correct product order, changes, product availability, ship date
- Effectively use Microsoft Office productivity software including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of Retail Sales or Customer Service
Experience in home design, architectural design or home construction
Ability to provide exceptional customer service
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong sales aptitude
Must be flexible, organized and self-motivating
Must demonstrate attention to detail
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
