Penguin Random House is Hiring a Stock Control/Quality Assurance Coordinator Near Westminster, MD

The Logistics Team is seeking a Stock Control Coordinator to join their dynamic team.  Job Responsibilities:
  • Generating reports and monitoring data related to quality inspections and inventory
  • Initiate and resolve cycle counts
  • Conduct research to resolve inventory quality and damage complaints
  • Collect and report on quality assurance issues and inspections
  • Resolve issues related to receiving inventory
  • Inventory variance resolution and research
  • Creation and updates to purchase orders for inbound inventory
  • System maintenance
  • Effectively communicate on a high professional level
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers, co-workers and stakeholders
Qualifications/skills required:
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks
  • Identify errors and imperfections of samples
  • Knowledge of quality standards for book industry
  • Ability to work accurately and independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn new methods & systems required to adapt to changes in the work environment
  • PC Proficiency to include Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of SAP and MARC
  • Good overall attendance record
  • Possess overall comprehension of filing procedures.
  • Accurate, organized and detail oriented with exceptional follow up skills
