Peninsula Engineering is Hiring a CAD Technician Near Naples, FL
Open position available for Entry-Level CAD Technician with Peninsula Improvement Corp. d/b/a Peninsula Engineering, a Barron Collier Company. Requires the ability to run/operate AutoCAD drafting software. A certificate and/or degree in CAD from a technical school or program is preferred. Position requires daily training and technical supervision, with work under the supervision of a Senior CAD Technician, for job-specific training, work assignment, and quality control/review. Job duties include preparation of exhibits, set-up and labelling of plans, drafting details and cross-sections, basic quantity take-off for construction cost estimating, printing/plotting, compiling plans and submittal packages, and other support activities for Peninsula Engineering team members. Experience/general understanding of the civil engineering industry is a plus but is not required.
