Lead Physical Medicine Clinician / Physical Therapist Position Summary

Under the direction of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department Manager and Senior Director, the Lead Clinician assists with the daily operations of the department to ensure timely, efficient and evidence based practice is provided in all aspects of care, while maintaining exceptional patient and employee satisfaction. They will also act as a liaison between referring providers, external customers and the staff. They will promote the department, support/lead program development and project management. The Lead Clinician will provide direct patient care as outlined in the appropriate clinical Job Description.

Lead Physical Medicine Clinician / Physical Therapist Position Requirements

Education

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), Physical Therapy assistant (PTA), Certified occupational therapy assistant (OTA), or Speech Pathologist (SLP)

Experience

• Experience working as a team lead is preferred
• 3 years of clinical experience is preferred.

Lead Physical Medicine Clinician/Physical Therapist Work Schedule

• Primarily day shift, Monday – Friday.
• May be required to work evenings and weekends.
• Must be willing to work in an emergency.
