SUMMARY   

Provides customer quality assurance interfacing.  Provides business office clerical assistance. Compiles and maintains records of material certification using appropriate media.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Product Certification:

•    Review supplier certification for accuracy to purchase order requirements.

•    Input and maintain material data and documentation via computer software

•    Develop and submit product certification packages as required by customers 

•    Comply with all cyber and physical security requirements set forth by the company to protect confidential information (NNPI, NOFORN, CUI, etc.)

Quality System:

•    May participate as internal quality auditor.

General:

•    Observe all company policies and regulations including safety, housekeeping, confidentiality of information, and quality of work with support and working knowledge of the Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 9001.

•    Operates computers and common office equipment.

•    Conducts research, compiles and prepares reports upon request.

•    Support, encourage and maintain a positive team working atmosphere throughout the company.

•    Support continuous quality improvement in all processes in which this position participates with a positive "Can Do" attitude.

•    Prepare and submit reports, documents and records required by company policy.

•    Perform other duties as requested or necessary to meet business conditions and changes.

•    Organizes and maintains file system, correspondence, and other records.

•    Performs follow ups and inquiries through various communication methods.

•    Interaction with customers via audits, visits and/or training.

Minimum Competency/Skill Set Level Requirements

•    Tier One, Two and appropriate Tier Three Documents.

•    Safety Policies and Procedures.

•    Computer proficiency with ERP and other software, Microsoft Office.

•    Basic ISO knowledge.

•    Planning and Organization.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Objective skills required for auditing such as open ended questioning and gathering objective evidence from nothing.

Salary : $45,000 - $65,000
