Pennybyrn has an opportunity for a Nursing Home / Healthcare Administrator to join our innovative, inclusive, and compassionate life-enriching community! This is a full-time exempt position.

This position's primary purpose is to be responsible for the operations of Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living, and provide leadership to the organization. The Administrator carries out the organization's missions, goals, and objectives to ensure outstanding service for our residents, and an exceptional work environment for team members. Develops and maintains relationships with residents, families, other stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. Ensures residents are receiving person-centered care. Manages the day-to-day operations, including staffing, supervision, training, budgeting, support, and resource allocation. Develops and implements policies and procedures. Monitors and analyzes data to ensure quality of care and service, and the safety and well-being of residents. Ensures responsible areas operate in compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

Candidates must have:

  • Nursing Home Administrator license (LNHA) in North Carolina
  • Appropriate LNHA experience (2 years desirable) in skilled nursing or healthcare
  • A passion and innovation for aging services
  • Current Nursing Home regulatory expertise
  • Creativity, organization, and drive to lead, direct, and manage a diverse team
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain trust and accountability with passion and integrity
  • Desire and ability to act as a Servant Leader
