Grounds Field Maintenance Supervisor
The Field Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance and care of a variety of fields on and off of the campus of Pensacola Christian College. The Supervisor should coordinate and supervise field care, maintain all field care equipment, and inventory and stock supplies as needed.
Supervise Field Care
Monitor fields and assess conditions, providing care that meets Executive expectations. Paint fields and set up for various sporting events as needed. Assist with parking needs on various fields during graduation and high-capacity campus events. Facilitate training that will enable students to paint fields and execute basic field care skills. Ensure that safety precautions are followed at all times by the field maintenance team.
Coordinate Field Usage and Care
Coordinate with athletic, academic, and special events departments and schedules in order to prepare fields for appropriate sports and recreational usage. Coordinate with various field care vendors to ensure that fields are cared for at times that do not interfere with classes or sporting events.
Maintain the Field Machines and Shed
Care for and maintain field mowers and painting machines under supervision, with the help of the small engine shop. Guide students in the proper procedures of cleaning the field painting machines. Ensure that the field painting machine is cleaned daily and kept in top working condition.
Inventory Field Care Supplies
Ensure that there is a continual replenishment and adequate amount of field care supplies for the future. Stock and maintain green sand, field paint, turf dye, drain covers, flags, etc.

Physical Requirements and Skills
Ability to lift 80 pounds, Manual Labor, Microsoft Applications, Mowing Equipment, Power Tools, Working Outdoor All Seasons, Work in Hot Weather
