Our client is an exciting and growing manufacturer of food and beverage products, with an enviable portfolio of brands. We are currently hiring an experienced procurement leader to join the team to lead the procurement of a range of indexed food commodities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead a small team of sourcing managers.
• Develop sourcing strategies to secure a reliable supply of critical raw materials
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers while fostering solid relationships built on trust and collaboration.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure favorable terms and quality assurance.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including R&D, Marketing, Operations, and Quality Assurance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize sourcing processes, reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies related to sourcing, quality, and sustainability.

Experience required:

• Bachelors degree in supply chain, business or related field
• 5 years of procurement and sourcing experience within the food industry
• Strong understanding of raw materials, particularly traded food commodities such as sugars, fats, oil, cocoa, etc.

This position will require you to work on site 3 days a week, with 2 days working from home.
