PENTONIX Freight is Hiring an Inventory Specialist Near Fort Worth, TX
Essential Functions
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Perform regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Update and manage inventory data in the warehouse management system (Carton Cloud).
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, reporting findings to the Warehouse Manager.
- Assist the Receiving Lead in the inventory and allocation of all incoming products.
- Manage the placement and organization of the shipping and receiving area.
- Ensure that all outgoing shipments are accurately picked, packed, and documented.
- Collaborate with the shipping team to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of orders.
- Prepare regular inventory reports for management review.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including adjustments, transfers, and returns.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Specialist or similar role in a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, task orientation.
- Ability to communicate with adjacent staff, supervisors, and customer representatives with clear messaging, tact, and professionalism.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong computer skills for inventory management and customer inquiries.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
