Penz Automotive Group is Hiring an Automotive Sales Manager Near Rochester, MN

Penz Automotive Group is looking for experienced Sales Manager to lead our Vehicle Sales team to even higher performance levels. This is an opportunity for the right leader to grow vehicle sales operations in a growing automotive group while enjoying a great culture.

What the Job Entails:

  • Plan and present weekly sales meetings with 100% salesperson attendance
  • Ensure daily training activity and skill improvements with all retail salespeople.
  • Forecast monthly goals and objectives for the department
  • Develop and maintain harmony and teamwork with all other departments.
  • Review Salespersons performance on a daily, weekly & monthly basis
  • Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect retail vehicle sales
  • Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all sales employees
  • Help sales personnel set specific daily, weekly and monthly goals
  • Work with General Manager and Sales Managers across multiple Penz Automotive locations in planning inventory (Both what vehicles to have on the ground, and inventory level based on projected retail sales volume)
  • Provide Penz Automotive leadership with updates on market conditions
  • All other duties and tasks as assigned
  • Must be a leader!
  • Must be willing to learn new ways of acquiring vehicles

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated track record of managing inventory at the store or group level
  • High school diploma or equivalent (College degree is a plus!)
  • Two years of retail supervisory experience preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of successful retail supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Expert knowledge and proven track record in inventory purchasing
  • High level knowledge acquisition strategy
  • High level of organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of dealership management

Pay: $72,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
