- Must be thorough and hard-working
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of CNC machine tool operation
- Committed to quality and safety
- Job requires ability to follow written instructions, read blueprints and engineering drawings, take verbal instructions and work from other speficiations.
- Must be able to use precision measuring instruments, scales, etc
to verify and check dimensional accuracy of work. - Works from CNC programs, operation sheets, shop order routers and travelers, process planning instructions, etc.
- Sets up and operates Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) turret lathes, single spindle vertical and horizontal machining centers.
- Familarity with HAAS and Mazak machine tools is a plus.
- Physical lifting involved
