Job Description
Nemours is seeking a Full Stack Application Engineer for internal web solutions, to join our Nemours Children's Health team.
Preferred location is Jacksonville, Florida or Orlando, Florida, but will consider remote candidates in other locations.
The primary responsibility of the Software Engineer is to design, develop, test, and deploy applications that support the internal business and clinical needs of the organization. The position will follow approved process of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle for both new application development and maintenance/support of existing applications.

• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements for the applications.
• Write and execute automated tests including unit-tests.
• Follow approved Agile Software Development Life Cycle and development standards.
• Contribute to architectural design.
• Develop cloud hosted applications in Azure using C# .Net
• Participate in code review process.
• Develop software documentation.
• Develops estimates for project tasks.
• Assist in training end users.
• Report project status to supervisor.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent on-the-job experience may substitute for the Bachelor's Degree.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related area, during which both technical and professional capabilities have been clearly demonstrated required.
• Experience working in a project-based application development environment - inclusive of Agile methodologies along with technical expertise in Azure, C# .Net, GitHub, Front-end technologies(Angular, React...), Content Management Systems, Database Schema design, SQL, Web Services (SOAP and REST), and Web application servers.
