SHIPPING COORDINATOR
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in (Elgin IL,) within the manufacturing industry.
We are looking for a friendly passionate person to join a great team as a Shipping Coordinator. A charismatic person that loves to be detail orientated organize, punctual, and working in industrial environment.
SHIPPING COORDINATOR

• Pay $20 per hour

1st Shift 7:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Shipping Coordinator Summary: Manages shipping and receiving functions.
Job Title: SHIPPING COORDINATOR.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinates transportation of products to customers and vendors.
• Compiles all shipment documentation, including NAFTA cert, material certs and specific customer required documents.
• Ensure compliance with International Trade requirements and restrictions
• Responsible for managing facility's shipping and receiving operations
• Provides customer service related to production information
• Responsible for the coordination of all vendors within secondary operations
• Responsible for purchasing all shipping supplies
• Responsible for all UPS shipping
• Assist Customer Service with additional projects as required.

Shipping Coordinator QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Good organization and analytical/reasoning skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents in English such as general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; and/or two to four years related experience or training preferred. Knowledge and experience with PC and related software programs such as Microsoft Office.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; sit; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee is required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds unassisted. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
