Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is Hiring a 2nd Shift Machine Repair Technician Near Goshen, IN

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a leading manufacturer of residential and commercial cabinetry in the United States is seeking finish technicians/machine repair technicians for their 2nd shift.
Finish Technician/Machine Repair Technician Summary:

$21.37/hr ($19.37 $2.00/hr shift premium)
Full Time: 2nd Shift 3pm - 11:30pm overtime as needed
Working with a team, after completing 3 day training program, to repair and maintain production equipment in a safe and efficient condition while performing all other tasks required to support manufacturing.
Using hand tools, power tools, forklift, scissor lift, and ladders.
Participate in all safety training provided including scissor lift and fork truck.
Correct and improvement of all finish area machine conditions.
Follow and complete work orders.
Mentor and improve finish equipment setup, operation, startup and shutting down tasks.
Responsible for machine performance.
Perform as back up for spray booth operator and pump room attendants.
Respond as needed to machine downtime issues, evaluate and repair or assist as needed to resume operations on timely basis working overtime if needed.
Troubleshooting of equipment or machine failures and quality issues using problem solving skills.
Work independently or with a team demonstrating cooperation and strong teamwork with direct supervision.
Communicate at a technical level with teammates as well as communicating to production team members regarding the performance of the finish equipment.
Work closely with Maintenance on larger scale issues.
Basic electrical knowledge to read schematics of new or existing equipment including knowledge on functionality of equipment under human machine interfaces.

Finish Technician/Machine Repair Technicians Qualifications:

HS Diploma/GED is preferred, but not required.
Experience in repair and set up of machines.
Lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 100lbs.
The ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop an entire shift (can be 8-10 hours)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic electrical knowledge
Forklift experience
Scissor lift experience
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
